Can you paint XPS foam
This helps you get the paint into the pores of the foam.If you are using the blue foam it has a nice colour anyway once you glass it.I like painting minis, and i like adding color.Then, apply two or three coats of an acrylic paint to a extruded polystyrene foam board, using a stiff paintbrush.All i can find is either too hard or too soft and crumbles.
Either paint under hotcoat if you must or even better use an epoxy paint and paint over the hotcoat.I have seen gesso in spray cans.A wax sealant can then be applied to protect the paint.This could be satisfied by gypsum wallboard, obviating the need to paint.If you have any questions or comments please leave them below.
